Hi!
Selling my wedding dress that was used once for several hours - I changed out of it half way through the night into a traditional chinese wedding dress. It is ivory/nude, the same color Calla Blanche showcases on their website. The bottom of the dress is lined in nude so that you cannot see your legs, but it can be easily removed. I had a 'weighted fabric' (not sure how to describe it) sown on the bottom 3 inches of the lining so it did not rise up or get caught on my shoes.
I am 5'4" and wore 3 inch heels. I ordered the dress from Calla Blanche with a 'hollow to hem' to keep the proportion of the lace on the skirt. My seamstress still needed to alter the length (removed all the bottom scalloped lacing to do so) as it still needed some slight revisions.
We also sown in a corsette to keep the dress up as it is quite heavy, but that can also be easily removed. The corsette is nude and cannot be seen through the front V of the dress. The corsette is a 32DD, as I lost some weight, but Im normally a 34D.
The bustle on this dress is quite intricate (seamstress said it was the most complicated one shes done). Its a french bustle with three layers and at least 20 string ties under the dress to make the bustle.
