Carol Hannah Poplar Neutral tone unclassified dresses

This is an absolutely gorgeous, extremely unique wedding gown by bridal genius Carol Hannah. I bought it as a sample from a bridal salon and then a few weeks later found another dress that I love more - but it was a very difficult choice between the two, as this dress is unbelievably beautiful! It's a strapless ivory ball gown, but with some very unqiue draping in the skirt and a slightly pointed sweetheart neckline that's unique and very flattering. The draping in the skirt is extremely dramatic and flattering, creating a waterfall effect that looks amazing in photos. I tried it on once in the store and once at home, but it definitely had been tried on fair bit at the salon (again, this was purchased from a salon sample sale, so had had a life as a try-on sample before this, but has never been worn out of the shop), and will need dry-cleaning, as well as needing a very small tear in the seam at the bottom of the zipper repaired (this should be a very easy fix, but will definitely require a tailor). As I never wore the dress for an event, I never had it altered or hemmed in any way. I'm a size 6 - 8 and this was maybe one size too big on me - I would say it's right between an 8 and 10, and could easily be tailored to fit either of those sizes (or smaller!). I'm 6 feet tall and it was seriously long on me - it has a very dramatic train, which looks gorgeous, but would definitely need to be hemmed and bustled as well.
