This phenomenal couture Carolina Herrera mermaid wedding gown has a detachable skirt, so the dress can be worn short for the reception. It's like getting two dresses in one!!
The bottom part of the skirt is attached with buttons, so it is very easy to go from long to short by undoing the buttons.
I purchased this back in 2009, but things did not work out, and I have had the dress ever since. It has been stored in a clean, dry place. It is perfectly clean and unaltered. The flower on the front definitely needs to be pressed/starched to get it nice and crisp again, as it has lost its shape. Note that it is easily removable and can be replaced with a different flower or some bling, if that's your thing!
The $4,600 tag from Saks Fifth Avenue is still attached, as shown.
