Carolina Herrera Aurora Plus size unclassified dresses

This breathtaking dress was purchased in Carolina Herrera's New York City boutique in 2014. I fell in love with it because of it's classic silhouette with a totally couture flair. I wanted to feel like a classic bride, but I also wanted a dress that reflected my love of high fashion and felt really unique. To me this dress felt like something no one had seen before, not another standard wedding dress, and I really loved that about it. My wedding was an outdoor black tie affair in Napa Valley, so I wanted a dress that captured that elegance and glamour, but also didn't feel out of place being outside. This dress in the sunset is incredible. The hand-painted gold leaf catches the light, and I truly felt like I was just glowing. While it's a big ballgown, it's not heavy at all, and the layers of tulle feel light and fluffy. It was important to me to have a dress I could dance the night away in, and I certainly could in this. You have absolutely no restriction of movement in this dress. I also loved the way it twirled on the dance floor. This is truly a statement making dress for a total fashionista bride.
